What the hell is going on in this thread? Did Ausfalcon create an account here just to argue with MikeB?
On topic: It was GRID that GT botched in their video. That was hilarious. What a joke site they are...

Hehe, MikeB alone gets more users to sign up on these forums than everyone else combined!
... I think I'm complimenting MikeB....
@on topic - I can't believe the flak Gametrailers is receiving for that GRID video.
The funny thing is mistakes like that happen all the time!! One of the major Canadian Sports broadcasters (Sportnet) accidentaly aired a clip of a newscaster swearing on Live television. The editors watched the first 10 seconds of the clip and assumed they had the correct clip and put it on air.... they should of watched the whole thing... oops!
Watch Here -
This is from one of the biggest sports stations in Canada and they screwed up... so why is it so hard to believe that a videogame website doesn't mess up??
Next thing you'll tell us that 9/11 was Microsoft's fault..

tried the demo on psn last nite.
i thought the game was pretty good ran very smoothly.
but in all honestly most multiplats are now fair conversions, its true that most lead develop on 360 but if the game is the same its the same.
i dont bother about little bits like this.
...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...
PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk
really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

Maybe the fact that GameTrailers are putting together these "comparison" videos for the sole purpose of inciting flamewars, and the fact that this is NOT the first time that they fucked up by mislabeling footage, you would think that they'd take the time to double-check this stuff, no? It's really seriously pathetic that they even bother - who cares which version looks a tiny bit better? Certainly not anyone who only owns one console or the other, and for people who own both, they will decide based on what they value - free online play, more friends using one system or the other, preferred controller, etc. etc. So these videos don't help anyone. Especially when GameTrailers are being dishonest about it.
Look at the facts here. Side-by-side video. The "PS3" side clearly looks different - you can see the dividing line. Yet - SOMEHOW - there are 360 controller instructions on the PS3 side of the video? It doesn't make sense. The two sides of the video should be exactly equal, since this footage all came from one console.
I accepted the GameTrailers excuse "it was uh axadint!" when they screwed up GRiD, but again? Come on. Fool me once...

I actually got my sig from existing members here, a number of folks have it.
And if I'm here only to argue with MikeB its odd then that I am adding to the game database list, the boxart collection, helping someone with advice on what to look for in buying a used original Xbox, etc. But think what you want, its a free country.
Most anticipated game: Dragon Age Origins (PC)
Not sure why I clicked in this thread, discussions about GT's comparison videos never turn out well.
Incidently, for all those people claiming the GT is biased against Sony, was it because you yourselves thought that the PS3 side did in fact look worse than the 360? and that it must have been tampering by GT to make it so?

You notice too.I knew I wasn´t the only one.
Am I to understand that GameTrailers is being paid by Microsoft, or has some other vested interest in making the PS3 look bad, and to achieve this goal, they created these comparison videos, to doctor the footage, so that viewers will rush to go by the 360?
Really??
What a surprise the 360 is on par or better than the PS3 in a comparison so the company comparing is biased. Another troll thread with lots of garbage marketing for Sony to boot too.

If I recall correctly, the GRID video made a big deal of the PS3 version looking like ass, which was pretty funny when someone noticed that the PS3 version was being shown as the 360 version.
What got me started on the blatant bias that GT does was the Assassin's Creed video. They showed a clip of (forget his name, the old guy that tells you what to do) where it cuts it in half for the two systems and zooms in a couple times. The main focus is that of his eyes; the 360 side has a nice detailed eye, and the PS3 version has this horrible looking eye like it's missing. The obvious conclusion anyone would draw while viewing this is that the PS3 version has far less detail. But in truth, the character has a screwed up eye.
When I saw that, it sure seemed a little biased, but when I saw that mess of a video for GRID, it became far more clear.
So no, I don't claim bias because I thought it looked worse, I claim bias because of the evidence.
