my wife loves the sonic games, so I'm hoping to pick it up cheap later down the road so she has more games she likes to play. I asked her if she wants it and she doesn't seem interested, but I know she loves the games.

One of the stickies for each one is a poll on platinum difficulty level.
The easiest games appear to be
Sonic collection
Monsters vs Aliens
Prince of Persia
X-Blades
If you have some free time and are planning on buying a game anyway, you should buy Prince of Persia Used at Gamestop. Gamestop has a deal where you can return a used game for full credit within 7 days from purchase. So, then you can buy another used game from this list above, and repeat on and on, until you feel you want to actually keep a game. It's basically renting for free. I often have 2-3 games "rented out" at a time. Mostly DS games though.

You don't give out amazing advice like this and not get any appreciation for it...
^RE5 ? don't you have to get all those multiplayer trophies?? And how about having to buy the Versus add-on to get the versus trophies???

There is one section in level 5-3 or something at a save point where you can earn 200k in about half an hour. Plat on that took me about 3-4 days. I thought that was really fast compared to other games. Like you said about fallout where you can get most by just beating the game (not really). You get about 80 of the trophies in RE5 from simply beating the game.

You use the guide because its too hard to get trophy without it.
And this guy asked which one is easiest to get not the fastest.Fallout 3 trophies might require some time but most of them are pretty easy to get.

Or better yet, hoe to complete Agatha's song quest.
Howabout all the weapon schematics.

I'm pretty sure speed is a factor in ease. What if a game took you a full year to beat, but you only had to play one minute each day (not on average, and you couldn't manipulate the internal clock). I don't think anyone would get that trophy TBH
So no multiplayer trophies required for the platinum...now that makes it a LOT easier.
