Infact it seems like Sony completely abandoned the mascots they worked so hard to build up last gen. Jak&Daxter are still very popular, as evident by the sales on PSP.

On another note about not using their franchises/characters - Why not some sort of Sony version of Mario Kart, Mario Party, or SuperSmash Bros???

Especially after losing so many exclusives to 360, the Ps3 really needs all the 1st/2nd party help it can possibly get.

True, twisted, jak and wipeout all need some love. the rest = meh though.

I do want a new ape escape -- the original ones were awsome.

I doubt anything is being worked on.

Naughty Dog in working hard on Uncharted 2 right now. Havent even started on a Jak game.

Jaffe's last interview sounded like he hasn't even begun on a Twisted Metal game. He said his next game wont even be at E3.

WipeOut - meh. Havent heard a peep since HD came out.






It seems as if Sony has spread itself thin, making games for PSP and Ps3. Look at all the titles on PSP that havent even touched the Ps3 yet.

No wonder MS is beating Sony this gen. MS is focusing solely on the 360, while Sony is focusing on the PSP, Ps3, and heck...even the Ps2 still.

None of those series are particularly strong.

None of them are HUGE, but put together, they would all sell quite well.

Daxter sold over a million copies on PSP.

Jak sold very well on Ps2.

Twisted Metal is a proven million+ seller.

Syphon Filter has a good reputation would be well received by Ps3 fans.

Ps3 needs all the exclusives it can possibly get. Why waste these popular IP's?
