As for everybody arguing over what a AAA game is: this thread makes absolutley no attempt at explaining what the OP believes "AAA" means. This is probably largley due to the fact that this thread is a response to a thread made by a PS3 fan (99% of these kind of threads on VGC are). Squilliam, if you actually believe that the average consumer is waiting on metacritic.com to see how well a game does so they can go out and buy it, you are largley mistaking my friend.
MGS4 could have gotten Lair level scores and it still would have become a million seller.
