Yes, because Halo 3, Halo Wars, Gears 2, L4D, Mass Effect, and the exclusive DLC for Fallout 3 and GTA IV don't exist because Sony announced its line-up before E3...  MGS4 and LBP are OLD, man...  What has the PS3 done for me lately?

By E3, all of Sony's big releases will be old news as well, and anything MS and Nintendo show will be the talk for the next few months.  THAT is the positive to this strategy.  The negative is drowning in the nonsensical "SONY NOW RULES THIS GENERATION!!" posts for couple months before hand.

All in all, all three consoles are playing it smart...  Sony runs the headlines during the yearly "lull" in the industry by pre-loading E3 with its announcements while nothing else is said, so it seems they're on a tear...  Then, MS' silence builds hype in the final moments for E3, and they eat up headlines like mad after.  Meanwhile, Nintendo sits on Mt Profit and smugly hurls shovelware down to the masses, not caring because they're frigging invincible.

Forza 3 is the worst kept secret, it's even been leaked (brazillian video). You wanna bet about F3 in this E3?

By the way, early 2010 before next E3 falls right between what should be shown in 2009's E3. Why don't you consider them? because they throw your point away? How convenient... 

You know, it would appear you are more worried about making the point there are no games for the 360 rather than finding out what's gonna be showcased during the E3.

I dont care about 2010, im not doubting there will be an abundance of amazing titles in 2010, what I am concerned about is holiday 2009......

We are already aware MS has decided to be tight-lipped until E3 starts so you won't find about upcoming titles in this forum.

If you are so concerned, try bugging the XBox offices in Redmond...

Thats just off the top of my head! Imagine what will be announced at E3! 2009 will be the lowest quality year for the 360 and PS3, but it just might be Nintendos year. Who knows?

Because that's the most convenient marketing window. Only the geeks/nerds that post on gaming forums are aware/care about games coming in the distant future.

They will talk about 2009 games, but they will also announce major 2010 games.

ant wait for e3. Hopefuly we should get some good games but also increased console functionality
