Its not our fault our cars suck. If electric cars would've gone mainstream without interference from the oil companies buying its patent and throwing it away, we would've been on top. We have a bunch of wealthy elite bastards who control everything and make decisions our expense.

Try this on for size. If there is a similar product to what the Japanese already have, they'll refuse to support the ouside brand out of Nationalistic pride. You will buy something that Japan or Asia itself doesn't already make. The only reason the 360's hit one million is because of the JRPG's.

RROD and other hardware problems is some of the reasons but the real reason is Japanese just don't like the 360.  The 1st Xbox didn't do that good in Japan either.  Japanese don't like how the Xbox is design for example the 360 controller is big and Asian people have smaller hands so they like the PS3 controller better because it's small.  You also go to look at the technology that 360 use.  The 360 uses old stuff like the disc tray, batteries in the controller, no build in wifi, and other old stuff that the PS2 had so basically the 360 is just a PS2 on steroids.  Then you have the games that Japanese don’t care for.  Halo and Gears may be huge in North America but not in Japan.  Japanese gamers just really aren’t into shooter games like Americans and other countries are.  So even if the 360 didn’t have all those failure problems Japanese still wouldn’t but it because they just don’t like the 360.

because PS3 in Japan never been treated as the PS3 in america...
you know what I mean... Japanese PS3 has the good stuff first than American...heck...

and of course... when it comes to electronics... Japan first... Others second...

Why windows is big? it is because there are no Japanese OS(that i think of)
iPod? i don't know... iPod is very popular all over the world...
McDonalds? its a food-chain... hehehehehe... maybe they just want to eat some american food from time to time...
