Thanks for the heads up. I just read the one from IGN along with the interview from IGN. Is really shapping up good and the fact that they seem to be almost done should lead to a demo before release if anything there won't be a delay. By the way again i recommend the book Mass Effect" Revelation as it was really nice reading the preview from IGN and actually knowing what they where talking about in terms of the references in the story.

If they pull off a demo before release that would be great, but if they can't pull it off so they can release the game on time, I'd rather have that.

I don't think I'll be needing a demo though for this game, unless somehow it completely disappoints and that will show in reviews if it ever happens, though I doubt it at this point.

Honestly I just want the demo to start freaking playing. Is the top game I want this year.

Man...I just watched all the videos up on GameTrailers...so excellent...this game really makes me want a 360...really...

The dialogue and choices you can make is so cool...the combat might take some more convincing for me...but I'm sure it's fun once you're actually playing.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

this is not an rpg........ but i'll still buy it

First 5 minutes of Mass Effect. Tasty.

I was gonna watch that video, but I decided not to. I want to be amazed when I play the game myself. Especially the intro of a game leaves a big impressions while playing it.

Mass Effect, like Halo 3, doesn't need a demo. Just release the game and everyone will buy it on day one.

We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that they [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine and half years? It's a learning process. - SCEI president Kaz Hirai

It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, "Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it." So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on. Everyone I know bought one and nobody turns it on. - Epic Games president Mike Capps

We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games. - Activision CEO Bobby Kotick

It isn't?  Explain how this is not an RPG.
