Forums - Nintendo - Cosmic Family (gamers with kids)

I have two little ones aged 3 and 6, there is not many games geared towards them so I am really looking forward to Cosmic Family. Was wondering if I am the only one or if there are other parents also excited. My oldest one plays a lot of classic games and some of the mini games but nothing really for my youngest. Would like to see some educational games also for different grades. Hoping this might open other companies eyes, I would enjoy a game like this about every 6 months for the young gamers.  Guess it all depends on sells.

Wow. I never read about this game until now. I think I will pick it up tomorrow. This is right up my boys' alley, (4 and 5)

i have 3 kids

twins that are 3 and a 6 yr old

the 6yr old plays PC games- racing games, world of warcraft, others.
he plays the DS (he has a black DS) & about 5 games-he also has a GBA and ~10 games on that(which he plays on the DS now)

he plays MOST of the 11 Wii games we have (won't let him play RE4) Raymans, Sonic(which he likes) Rampage (for sub30 bucks its pretty fun), wii sports, excite truck (he has gotten gold on all but 2 tracks...(and i mean he has gone thru ALL the levels..and has gotten gold on all but 2 of the LAST set of tracks....) he has not tried metroid yet....

he wants strikers galaxy and brawl....

Crazy how good kids are at games...I remember owning at Sonic 2 and 3...I played them today and totally sucked...

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Woah, is that a good idea?

I haven't exposed the my kids to video games much yet. They have had this cheap learning game machine called "Vtec VSmile" for about a year now, and they have some learning PC games. Beyond that they generally do their own thing. Recently my oldest (technically turns 5 in October) has shown more interest while I play games. So I think it would be a good idea to get this Cosmic Family game.

Same here mine have played the V- Smile for a few years now but going from that to even Super Mario Bros. is a steep learning curve. Her favorite game is Mario Party 8.
