Why would battalion wars 2 not be released this year?
^ Maybe because it should be released in October but there is no talk about it. Well, MP3 was something like that also.
The Wii doesn't have that many good shooters at the moment. No solid (imho) games from third parties yet, and Nintendo seems to have a habit of not making too many first party games where shooting is the main content, and even then the games tend to be family-friendly. A pity really, because I'm sure I'm not the only one who would appreciate more violence done with Nintendo's competence.
Ok, I just looked up BWII and from the few screens I saw it looks like same screen co-op blow em up mayhem? If that's the case, It'll be at the top of my list. Nothing says quality family time like blowing up crap with BFGs together on the same screen.

I think that's pretty much it, with some mild squad based strategy elements.
Resident Evil UC anyone? Red Steel 2 (we all know it's coming).

not only same screen co-op, but online co-op as well as online battle if i'm not mistaken. But from the looks of it, it will be a silent verion, meaning no online voice chat. Oh well, should be a blast.
