I shoot Lucky Star down because it has too many inside jokes... the kind that even most anime freaks wind up going to message borders to look up. Something about seeing a lot of fat otaku giggling at jokes that I'm sure at least half of them don't even understand themselves is a total turn off for me.

And yeah, I totally need to update my signature more often. Tales of Symphonia II should be going away but it's just hard to find the motivation to play that game when there are several far more interesting games around.

I know what you mean about ToS2, I was so thankful that I finished that game before Persona 4 came out otherwise I have no idea how I would've finished it for a review.

I would've finished it and wrote a better review instead :)

I second FLCL

Evangelion is my fav series...but I never really reccomend it because it takes alot to understand and 'get'. Its not for anyone.

Watch Fooly Cooly it is awesome.In addition I would usually recommend Bleach but the filler arcs are annoying and lame. I don´t know if I should skip them or force myself to watch them.Each time I try to finish the bount arc I end up watching something else that I should not be watching(You people out there know what I´m talking about.)

If you're going to watch FLCL, you should watch Daicon 3, Daicon 4, Otaku no Video, and Neon Genesis Evangelion first. FLCL is full of self-referential jokes and zings, and is basically an entire history of Gainax animation.

But FLCL is also really good on its own, and only 6 episodes, and awesome and beautiful and hilarious. So watch it first, and if you get madly obsessed with it, go watch a bunch of other Gainax stuff, and that watch it again. It will be really different.

In fact, I highly recommend Otaku no Video for everybody here. It's half anime, telling the history of some people losing their lives and becoming pathetic otaku, and founding Gainax to try to become the greatest otaku ever (THE OTAKING!). The other half is a mockumentary about otaku, but really going over the top and making fun of them. The whole film makes fun of Gainax, anime, and otaku, and is really hilarious. It's a 2 episode OVA, so it's really really short and it's really funny if you like any anime at all. It also makes a lot of fun at Daicon 4, which is the best anime ever.

Have I recommended Daicon 4 enough? It's only 5 minutes, and the best.
