Forums - Microsoft - Forza 3 has a 2009 release date with 400 cars and 100 tracks.

Slightly off topic, I never used the wheel for bike in PGR4 before until the other day and wow, it's actually pretty good for controlling the bike especially using the "hood" cam view. (yes, I know bikes dont' have hood)

Someone should make kick-ass motorcycle racing sim and get company like Logitech to make motorcycle handle bars. It could double for say seadoo racing games.

Anyway, MS wheel is good but I have Fanatec wheel on order and can't wait for it to arrive. The guys at www.insidesimracing.tv review it and gave it a very high mark. (Not to mention the wheel will be compatible with PS3 and PC also). Speaking of those guys, they did Forza 2 and GT5P head to head and gave Forza 2 an edge over GT5P and boys those poor guys got earful from PS3 fanboys. What sad is these guys just love racing games and they have no fanboys or console agenda they review and play all kind of racing games from rFactor to the recent game like Race Pro.

Impressive.. this is why i cant wait for E3. Alot of big announcements coming.

As for the G25 wheel here is 1 reason why i love mine. May not be the best out there to some but it is to me.

BTW: Thats not me. Just some guy drifting an Art Morrison around Suzuka in GT5:P.

it sounds awesome and i'm sure the two disks won't be that big of an issue. as a society, we're so damned lazy and complain about everything that they're going to think of something to keep us on our asses.

as awesome as this sounds i'm a big ps fanboy. if this game doesn't offer a lot more than gt5, i'm going to stick with the brand i love.

Awesome!

If GT5 is announced for the same date, should be fun to see a "Racer Battle" between them 2 and the usual NFS game.

Wow hold on a sec. 360 Wireless wheel is very very good. I own it, and as you all know am a massive real life racing fan.

The force feedback is better than the G25 wheels. And the wheel feels much sturdier. None of it feels plasticy at all. The only thing it doesnt have is a gear lever. But obviously it has the paddles, which I will add is the best paddles Ive used. Saying that as a F1 fan, thats the only way I will use the gears. :)

Heres a review of it, and the force feedback in action.

"The Logitech wheel felt more responsive and more like a real car, thanks to its 900 degrees of rotation. Microsoft's wheel only has 240 degrees of motion, and as a result, the wheel felt too sensitive to us in every game we tried on it."

This alone makes the G25 is way superior. Plus the H-shift, clutch and dual FFB motors. MS wheel isn't even in the same league. If you can afford the Porsche wheel, it's the only wheel that's probably better than the G25 in the similar price range.

Hate to tell you this, racing cars have only 240 degrees of movement. BTCC, F1, WRC. No clutch either. How bout you use a reviewer who knows about racing. :)

That info was leaked last year, but it also contained info about avatars and a motion sensitive karaoke game which were later revealed at E3, so it looks like a trusted source, but a lot can change in a year.

Now the point is that in most racing games you don't just race with racing cars. Most of them include tons of production cars.

GT series have 3/4 of cars are production cars.

wow a racing game thats 2 disks?? how are they goina work that?

Thats ok, it's 1 game. The pure simulation games such as GTR 2 and Race Pro are racing cars. As will be the case with F1 2010. There is a reason why Forza and GT have never won a single award for realism.
