since now the wii is getting outsold by its HD oppenets, when will the wii go to 40 percent marketshare?

I'm going to guess that the Wii will never hit 40% marketshare again, and if it does it will be after the launch of its successor.

considering the Wii sold about 47.4% marketshare this week, and this is probably the lowest week its had this year i'd say never - error mathematical impossibility (unless of course the rumored negative sales come back to bite it in the ass)

Assuming the same sales every week till the end of time, the Wii will hit its limit at 47.44%, so never.

As soon as the Wiis sales start dropping so dramatically that they get anywhere near close to 40% Nintendo will just do a price drop and it will shoot back up near 50%...
