It seems like a pretty cool game and something that I would download. Hopefully he can just get in contact with Nintendo...
Can't even tell what's going on half the time because it's a black character on a black background, but other than that it seems interesting. It'd have to be fairly inexpensive to warrent a try, though.
You do not have the right to never be offended.
I haven't heard of it, but maybe Nintendo might be worried about LocoRoco similarities...
Wow, having this game for WiiWare would be amazing. It seems that LocoRoco took a basic idea of the gameplay from this game, but they are both very different.
Yes, after watching the youtube clip, I really hope we can see that on wiiware seems really fun.

Wikipedia tells me that LocoRoco came out 2006.
Gish came out around 2004.

I have this through Steam. Coast $15 I think which is about £7 my money.
Pretty good for that price, you can design your own levels and download other people designs.
Doesn't take advantage of Wii controls though.

that sounds pretty fun...
Also I'm sure if Nintendo gave him the go ahead, he could incorporation wii remote movements into Gish 2, which is apparently in development...
Looks interesting...not near big budget looking, but good for a downloadable.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
This is a good example of a programmer with zero business sense.
Honestly, what the hell is he thinking? "If I threaten Nintendo and generate tons of bad, bad press for them, they'll give me a shot at WiiWare!"
Nintendo isn't the kind of company who is going to respond well to threats, and that's essentially what this guy is pushing at them. If he hasn't earned himself a place on Nintendo's shit list, he's well on his way to doing so.
"I mean, c'mon, Viva Pinata, a game with massive marketing, didn't sell worth a damn to the "sophisticated" 360 audience, despite near-universal praise--is that a sign that 360 owners are a bunch of casual ignoramuses that can't get their heads around a 'gardening' sim? Of course not. So let's please stop trying to micro-analyze one game out of hundreds and using it as the poster child for why good, non-1st party, games can't sell on Wii. (Everyone frequenting this site knows this is nonsense, and yet some of you just can't let it go because it's the only scab you have left to pick at after all your other "Wii will phail1!!1" straw men arguments have been put to the torch.)" - exindguy on Boom Blocks
