Tekken 6 will have console specific features. Ground breaking trailer.

Tekken 6 executive producer Katsuhiro Harada spoke of "console-specific" content earlier today at a Namco Bandai presentation. It won't be the first time for us to read about console exclusivities when it comes to Tekken 6 content, but what we have now is a confirmation from the publisher's brass.

Although he didn't go into detail as to what exactly the "console-specific" content would be, at least now some of the rumors have been confirmed. We already know that the PSP version will have levels and character customization options that the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360versions won't have, but will the exclusivity be limited to a few extra clothes and levels? Somehow I doubt that, or is it just the Tekken fan in me wanting old characters back?

Realistically speaking, Gon is imba, so I don't think Namco Bandai is gonna bring him back, unless it's just for kicks. Angel is basically Devil Kazuya anyway, so it's possible. But if it's Ogre or Dr. Bosconovitch, things could get interesting, especially for Ogre, who'd have so many moves that'll be great for the new physics.

Expect to be able to download said content a couple of months later only to find out it was already on the disc.

NOTE: If it turns out to be characters (e.g Kazuya/Jin etc) I'm boycotting completely.
