The OP is obviously referencing the fact that it's going back to 1. Wii, 2. Xbox 360, 3. PS3 this week, as it has been for most (all?) of the year.  It's rather humorous that people are trying to be coy about it.

But the way he worded it he is trying to make it out like the 360 is neck and neck with the Wii (which it is no where near) and that the PS3 is being soundly beaten by the 360 (and they are only about 20k apart), that's why people are jumping on him.

damn it another 360+ PS3 > Wii week.

But good week overall. drops to be expected coz of the time of the year. next week jap will be interesting with the "golden week"

It should have been worded, the wii way ahead as always, with the PS3 just behind the 360.

PS3 is in desperate need of a price drop. While numbers were down all round, PS3 numbers in America look horrid. I know there are no big titles but selling less then 40K is not good. The PSP out sold the PS3 WW not a good thing.

i hardly consider 85+ thousand more console "just below"

when ps3 is only like 20 k below xbox.

Except PS3+PSP competing quite well with Wii+DS in Japan, with PS3 beating Wii for the 9th consecutive week there, and the usual stellar DS performance WW, sales are quite meh this week, far from normal.

ps3 back to 3rd , good xbox360 number overall

So DS currently outselling PSP 4:1, when will it hit 70% marketshare?
