Why can't Bioware and Bethesda release games for the PSP instead?

Last time Bioware was approached to port Mass Effect to the PS3 their words were "no comment". I'm guessing the PSP gets no comment as well. It definitely would be much better on PSP than the IPhone. It seems Bioware likes working with PC companies.

Theres an off chance its American companies they like to work with (Microsoft, Apple) instead of japaneese gaming companies (ie Sony, Nintendo) - although they did do that Sonic RPG with Sega.

Currently dreaming of: DKC4 or Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (classic 2D platformers) for WiiWare, Smash Bros. for DSi, New Super Mario World for DSi, a Wii remake or true sequel of Final Fantasy Tactics.

One down, hopefully more awesomeness to come.

oh well...... now I guess I need to get an iTouch sooner than later. urg. I would love to see some Bioware love for PSP and DS.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

I doubt it, Americans don't have patriotism when it comes to business (and rightfully so I might add). Follow the best business proposals, it just so happens that so far it's been with American companies. Bioware is also developing Dragon Age for the PS3.

Either way it's not up to Bioware anymore, it's up to EA.

That explains it, EA has been supporting the App Store like crazy, they're up there with Gameloft as one of the best developers on the App Store right now.

I doubt it has to do with the Japanese. They are owned by EA, whom are huge Sony humpers. Bioware has a successful history of making great games for Microsoft....and I think they are finding a home in it. Thats all I think it is. It's kind of like Suckerpunch with Sony. KOTOR 1&2  and Jade Empire were huge hits on the original XBOX. Mass Effect has cemented itself as one of the faces of the Xbox 360 and Bioware has noticed that. The multiplat game they are making for the PS3 as well  is Dragon Age: Origins.

Yeah I think MS messed up by not acquiring them and letting EA do the honors. Dragon Age would've been only on PC360 if they had acquired them.

I love Mass Effect and I love my iPhone.

Still, do not want.
