Hmm...I'm pretty sure once you login to Steam, you can edit your SteamID to any available nickname.

Up til now, games had you create a name ingame...but with Steam Community for all future Steam games, just create a SteamID and it will stick with you...but I'm pretty sure you can change it and keep your stats.

ben or entroper can you add me to the VGC group plz :>

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Sad, that there was the most recent post in all of the PC forum.

To cheer you up, here's a hilarious video!!

I was at the movie theater today, and they played The Orange Box commercial twice, and they actually played Meet the Heavy! It was really weird seeing that in a theater, but awesome seeing it at massive resolution and 60 fps. I wish they had shown Meet the Engineer though, because no one found the Heavy video funny.

Hehehe...I am the master!

But man, ihira...that's insane! How did you manage that?

Dustbowl Stage 3 I was RED Engie.  I forgot how but I got behind the entire team and started whacking the whole team with a wrench.

I'd have to say they were quite dumb not noticing me killing their teammates right behind them.

Random notes.

-I hardly play Sniper because I think hes boring but I got something like 25-4 today.  Never knew he was this good.

-Everyone with their main weapon looks like a Spy

-I play Dustbowl 3/4 of the time.  IMO this is the 'de_dust2' of TF2 no?

crappy old school NES games are more entertaining than next-gen games.

Yeah, I notice that half of the players quit a server immediately after it rotates off of Dustbowl. I think there should be two kinds of servers, those that play Dustbowl 24/7, and those that play all the maps except Dustbowl.

Yes, Dustbowl is my favorite map followed by Gravelpit.

Offense/Defense maps feel like theres actually an objective you have to work on and they're way more intense when you're about to cap or get capped.
Well and Granary are just open maps where you're constantly pushing forward with firepower and thats about it. Its hard to Engineer on Well/Gran too when the respawn is constantly changing.

2fort isnt bad but can drag on forever when 1 team goes total defensive. There needs to be a limitation on Engies on that map IMO. Map is too small and not enough routes to access the Intel room.
However capture the Intel is fun so I'd like to see another official ctf_ map.

I actually like Hydro a lot now that I've played it more. The problem is that it's a highly confusing layout to begin with, AND they keep changing the layout on you all the time. As a result, the map takes an awfully long time to learn. Lots of fun though, but a bit susceptible to Scout rushes.

My least favorite maps are Well and Granary, with Granary being the worst. At least in Well, there's a timer before the doors open, but in both maps, whoever gets the middle control point first and holds it for 30 seconds wins. Once that's done, the team who owns the middle point gets their respawn moved forward and their respawn timer shortened, giving them a huge advantage. If the "defending" team tries to retake the middle, the "offensive" team usually easily captures the next point and the final point. If the "defending" team turtles up, it becomes a neverending struggle for the second capture point.
