Whats the point of having a nextgen console,if devs are gonna make last gen games with this gen graphics.

 

No more linear worlds,no more unjumpable fences.

360 is going to be going strong at $99 by that time, and the nextbox will be out and craving market share...and sony will be on it's 10-year plan.

I could be wrong but I think he means Europe which isn't definately still up for grabs in fairness. I don't think they'll catch the Wii but the 360 is a prime target in that timescale if they can lower the price enough.

5 years is a very long time in the console world, I think sony are sticking to their 10 year plan.  Good on them

 

Wow in 2006 another Sony exec was predicting that the PS3's games would have "dominant shelf space".  Especially funny when we're reading now how places like Wal-Mart and Toys 'R Us are increasingly marginalizing their PS3 sections.  Oh and they predicted they would be leading the industry for the next 10 years.

So basically Sony is admiting they lost this gen and will finish with the bronze. Theres no way that MS is going to hold back the 720 past three years from now.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. 2 years from the date PS3 drops to $300 USD, it will be tied or ahead of 360 LTD.
