Forums - Microsoft - This guy thinks the next XBOX will be announced this year. Is he wrong?

Yakuza 3, Demon`s Soul, KillZone 2, Heavy Rain, Ratchet:CiT, GoW3, FFXIII, FFXIIIv, GT5, Ico 3, Uncharted 2, Infamous, Fat Princess, Flower, Quantum Theory, MAG, Eye Pet, WKC, NGS2 and many other High Profile PS3 games.

 

 

lol CrazzyMan's numbers and theories always make me laugh anyways that would be a huge mistake. I wont be ready for another xbox until 2011 or 2012 personally

it would most certainly be to early to release a new xbox so soon i mean talk about having no faith in the 360 but i'd say at least two years until any next gen system

No chance. Add-ons are a possibility. I expect the Next Xbox November 2011.

very doubtful but not a completly bad idea for M$. Releasing an xbox 720 would probably destroy the PS3. The PS3s strongest point is its technology and an xbox 720 will be much more advanced. But it would kill M$ brand reliability so i doubt they will release one now

I love how Crazzyman was able to not only know the sales for the ps3 in the rest of 2009,10,11 but how he cut the price himself....I LOL'ed

A new Xbox wont be new per se so early on. It would be a slim, upgraded processing power / hard drive and maybe a Blu-Ray player. So it would be an Xbox 360+ of some sort (if any of this new hardware is even true).

microsoft said many times that the new xbox will not be launched before 2012.

It is said from xbox france team, from xbox usa team, from xbox world team, etc... it has been said a lot of times.

Some microsoft guy even joked about the "10 years lifespan" of the ps3 by saying that if the ps3 will last 10 years, then the 360 will be there for 10 years plus one day.

the point is : why the fuck is everyone so much in a hurry to empty their wallet once more? How foolish is someone that want to spend 400 dollars/euros on a new console when the last has still a lot of games to see?

let ff13 come, in late 2010, then if nothing is announce when 2011 comes, you can think about the new xbox, but till then, why asking?

As for some bullshit predictions, i think microsoft will begin to talk about it at gdc 2011 with release date for early 2012 at e3 2011.
