I loved MGS4, but gaming history will easily judge Galaxy as the better game, and one of the best games ever in fact.

I also preferred Galaxy.

MGS4 is a one time play experience, with a great narrative and graphics.

Galaxy is a timeless platformer that can be enjoyed by anyone at anytime.

That's my opinion, but I imagine it would also coincide with most insiders.

I thought GTAIV was almost as good as Galaxy, just so you have some ammo to bash me with. :P

Dang it! Why is that every single game must be compared to Metal Gear Solid 4. I'm beginning to think MGS4 is the best game. There was a thread earlier today that asked a similar question regarding "Halo 3 versus Metal Gear Solid 4". I said Halo 3 because it is my favorite game this generation.

Anywho, Metal Gear Solid 4 is waaaay better than Super Marion Galaxy.

But Super Mario Galaxy is the most fun I'd had in years, so I'll go with that one.

Yes, the people and the critics spoke a long time ago. Now it's the fanboys' turn, lol. Anyway, as a fanboy myself, Mario Galaxy for the epic mf'n win.
