Forums - Microsoft - Splinter Cell Conviction Set for this Holiday

Guillemot also noted that the four-years-in-development Splinter Cell: Conviction will finally arrive for the Xbox 360 this holiday season, along with the recently teased Red Steel 2 and a new sports franchise for the Wii.

The executive also briefly touched upon the as-yet-announced new Ghost Recon title, saying it should arrive during the its January-March 2010 quarter. The publisher also expects to launch new franchises Ruse and I Am Alive during that same quarter.

Big title for the 360 this holiday, Forza 3 as well and the 360 will do very nicely.

Yup.  This is what I'm expecting.

Wow, I really hope this is true. This game is one of the reasons I bought a 360, over 2 years ago. All those years in development had better be worth it.

YES!!!!!!!! Best news I've heard all day.

I was wondering what happened to the Splinter Cell franchise. Good to finally hear something about it.

Really?

For me, this is the best news I've heard for months!

The 360 now officially has the best holiday lineup. Everything else just got moved down the priority list.

If we get this, Alan Wake, and Forza 3 (we know we getting ODST this fall), i'll be very happy and i'm sure a lot of 360 owners will too...

Hope to get more information, gameplay, etc from E3....

I hope it does make it out this year, I've been anticipating this game for a while.
