Hello all... this thread is for people to post their achievements in how quickly they have completed a game and also to give links to other speed-runs ( I have seen someone complete Metroid Prime in 1 hr 9 minutes online)

I am currently doing Shadow of the Colossus on a speed run and have done a Metal Gear Solid speed run...

I completed Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes in about 3 hrs 20 mins on EXTREME difficulty...

So guys what speed runs have you lot done or are planning to do... Everytime you complete another game rather quickly discuss it here...and discuss the ones you've already done speed runs on as well...

The only thing I can really remember that I did that I found impressive was doing the Target Test With Link in Melee like a hundreth of a second faster than that video that came out.

I'd say glitches are fair game I mean its mostly just for fun to see how fast a game can be beaten. My favorite speed run to watch is the Mario 64 done in like 20 minutes one. That one actually inspired me to plugin my N64 and follow the movie and try it but I wasn't nearly as precise on all the jumps and it took me quite a few tries to get the rabbit to pop me through that one door, also had some trouble doing the hyper backwards long jump to shoot up Bowser's staircase. I think my final time was anywhere from an hour to 2 hours a far cry from the 20 or so minutes in the video but it was fun.
