Just a little blurb on the bulleted list, but rather distressing nonetheless. The multiplayer in the original was awesome, why would they scrap it?

I think that online multiplayer was announced some time ago...

No multiplayer = no buy. Period. I'm sick of not having local multiplayer.

I was hoping that they would make a step ahead with LAN support, but whatever...

yeah there doing that with alot of games this gen taking out the local MP i dont know Y i like local better than online

Seems like an agenda to get gamers into an online base large enough to support digital distribution.

Probably why Nintendo still does split screen like as if they are oblivious to the trend.

Why is this even called Red Steel 2? It's like they are banking on the name solely. You wouldn't expect less from Ubisoft.

Agh!!! I like Local Multi player more than Online. i hope they change this. Eventhough i didn't play the multiplayer for Red Steel that much.... is good to have it just in case

I would only buy it if they make the single player incredible fun like Metroid Prime 3.
I don't know if Ubisoft can do it, they'll have to prove me wrong.

Hyperion, Ubi can't do it and they wont prove you wrong; I dislike you for being right all the time. V_V

The game focusing on single player will more than likely be cool and nice and have it's own kind of awesome, but then 30 minutes in you will notice a slight trend, 3 hours in if the game hasn't ended already you've probably caught on to the monotony of the formula that was once cool but is no that old joke you've heard one time too many.

At least with multiplayer split screen, the burden of fun is partly on the player, that's why RS was actually bearable.
