tell her to go eat a dick

That's not a pleasant thing to say

No, but it's hilarious.

My video games actually tell me that I spend too much time with my girlfriend, so I have the opposite problem.

We'll miss you George.

PSN:Puzzleface

XBL:XpuzzlefaceX

My friends call me Hadoken because I'm down-right fierce

Me camp? Never

may I remind you that it was you who complained about not being able to hold a guys hand in public lol.

What has that anything to do with camping?

For your personal situation, I'd need to know more about her before I recommended any games. I'd try Wii Sports first though. But if she says this kind of crap again, tell her your father disagrees.

How to describe Nat, hmmm... She is a very liberal Jewish doctor from Belgium... Also she's never seen any of the terminator films

I bought my girlfriend a pink DS Lite which she actually asked me for because she liked Cooking Mama, then she bought Nintendogs and I bought her Prof Layton which she likes.

Then last week she came over and we were playing Wii Sports which she loves and then later that day she decided to go buy one for herself. She had a PS2 previously and would play Crash and Singstar and Spyro but she prefer's Wii games because she doesn't get frustrated she says lol

You haven't lived until you've gotten head while triple-killing with a frag nade in Halo. If you've gotten head while your team scored a winning run/goal/touchdown, that's a close second.

Other than that, she's still talking to you. Introduce her to your hobby and show her things she may like... You'll probably be surprised. For my ex-wife, it was Blue Dragon (though she had gamed Civ, EQ, and a few other things mildly before that point).

If she's open enough to gently poke fun of you for it, chances are she's interested in what you're doing. Not that she will learn the intricacies of the "drop grenade on death" option in CoD4 but she'll appreciate the time spent if you sat her down and played LBP or a handful of PSN/Live games with her for a few hours. Remember, she just wants to spend time with you (well, so long as she's not a total cunt) and just enjoys being around you. Women tend to be like that.

PS. Don't be a twat. You will have to play down to her level for a bit. Be patient and never get frustrated.

From your collection:

Goof Troop, good 2 player co-op.

Feel the Magic XY/XX, fast small minigames with easy intuitive controls, unique art, love story, and wacky cutscenes, great first game.

Wii Sports, Wii Play, Wario Ware: Smooth Moves, Rayman Raving Rabbids, all good choices.

Also, I think Pikmin is the most romantic game ever, just for the journal entries at night between the stages.  It would require more patience than a non-gamer would have though, so it might be fun to take turns and play it together or something.

She might like Super Mario Galaxy if you handle collecting and shooting star bits for her.  With you as the sidekick it might help her get more into it and feel more important.  But I can't predict her tastes when she's not a gamer... YET.

And I ALWAYS recommend any Katamari game.  Most girls want to sit and watch the colors and hear the music and see the glory of the Royal Rainbow.  Then you give her the controller and say "now you make a planet."  If she declines, she has a heart of stone, and it's better you found out sooner than later.

After you've played a couple of those with her, show her YubeTube videos of Loco Roco, and tell her it's only on the PSP, and that's why you want to get a PSP.  That should help.

Oh, and download the free PC version of fl0w.  She might like that.  Short game, very easy to play, easy on the eyes, very relaxing.

Oh, I rolled that with my ex-wife and she loved it. I thought it was ridiculously boring but she was having a great time so I kept going with it. By the end, even I was having fun because I had so much time to talk shit while she was jumping around and I was shooting things.

As for Katamari, that nearly killed my marriage. Co-op on that game is RIDICULOUS. You really need two hardcore gamers to make that work, though the single player game is loads of fun.

Haha, brilliant list RubangB,. That was pretty nifty. hmmm, I may try goof troop, I haven't played that in years.

I know when she has played cooking mama before because she played it on my DS once when she was staying at mine... I could buid on this.

Also she is a doctor, I could fool her into thinking Trauma centre or imagine doctor are good games to practice on

I wouldn't go that way. While they might be good intro games, she's a doctor... Play up to her cerebral nature. Maybe a game like Braid (maybe a bit much initially) or a few rounds of Carasconne (sp?) with you would be fun.

Honestly, I think going with a few of the simple Wii games first is the way to go but cut them off if she doesn't like them right off. It's a GREAT intro to videogames. Then, after that, sit her down and play a few challenging games with her (but don't opt for single player portables right off the bat). I think it's important to help her/watch her play games for a bit, even if you're not actually participating. On a DS, that won't happen. The key word here is "inclusion".
