Shift looks decent, but its not even out yet. It's a NFS game so it won't be class leading in graphics, EA just doesn't care that much.

I rented (and I am still renting) PGR4 on my buddies 360 which he loaned to me and it looks like shit compared to GT5:P, and I've earned every car in GT5:P so I know what it looks like. This is on the same TV using the same cables.

PGR4 doesn't look good at all, even in the touched up shots it doesn't really look that good.

and lol@ those "in game" PGR4 shots, this thread is biased as fuck.

graphix dont matter though wat the game offers does which one will have good car damage? which one will have the best car list? which one will have the best car physics? and which one will have the most tracks does

I can respect that GT5 P has got more polys per car. But I just think PGR4 looks more real. Maybe it's because of the lack of grittiness in GT5. I dunno. Dark clouds, rain lightning all make PGR4 just look more real for me. It shows how good PGR4 is if certain people complain that PGR4 pics I posted are post processed. When in fact they are taken from the community posted screenshots from peoples own copies of PGR4. Which can be found here.

To me that is a testament to how much many people who have not played it dont realise how good the game looks.

Shots like this is from an everyday game player on their copy in photomode.

Theres no enhancement to them. And they can be viewed at 1280x720 which proves they are straight from the game copy.

Why keep saying thats GT5 when all film and photos are of GT5p or a couple of year old GT5 photos?

and regarding gt5 screenshot..was some crappy capture used?..it seems pretty jaggy all over and especially the rear view..i don't trust those screenshots...shift doesn't fail to impress...pgr4 seems blurry...

An unbiased observer needs to make these threads. Selnors graphics comparisons are always full of lulz/fail.
