The friggin' Lion King.

This game will kick your butt, and your grandmothers just to rub it in. LK is one of the hardest and most frustrating games I have played in my entire life.

However, this "kids game" just proves that the fluff we call hardcore is just stroking egos.

I don't know how,but go ahead, beat The Lion King, see if it is hardcore or not.

I remember playing that game countless times, mastering it, and beating it 3 times as a kid.

I remember this game, I could never get past the part where you are being chased by the wildebeest.

@OP you fail at gaming, period. One more thing : hardcore or a "hard game" has nothing to do with looks or genre. Another one more thing: your isolated example proves nothing, it's just one game, and one last one more thing: the developers probably didn't intend to/failed at making it goo-goo-da-da easy as you clearly expected it to be.

man this game is amazing, used to play it everyday and loved it.

then my brother took it with him on a trip to hawaii and lost it. saddest day ever.
