Yeah I agree with this.

I don't mind big memory card for download games but give us UMD for compatibility with existing titles.

Kotaku mentioned that there was loose talk of an UMD-to-SD converter for games, placed in stores.

Here's hoping that it has a much better battery life than the original PSP as with the UMD drive gone this should, in theory, make the power consumption reduce dramatically!

Actually would there be any diffrence in battery life when you use PSP 3000 with a game from PSN on memory card compared to this I wonder ?

well i hope that sony will finally give us good battery life.....imagine 10h-14h battery life for gaming.........i think it is possible if they use led-technology for the screen,remove umd,shrink cpu+gpu and give more ram........a 1600-1800mAh battery could last for 10-14 hours

Unfortunately my hating dreams may be dashed by the fact that the hardware itself is desireable. Damnit...
