Okay well in the next week or so I plan on buying a 360 mainly to play Lost Odyssey and other Mistwalker titles. (Gears 1 and 2 are also part of the decision and future Bioware projects) And I've been reading some reviews to get a feel for the game and I've been getting nothing but mixed messages. Let me inform the general public here that I am a HUGE fan of Traditional Turned Base combat in JRPGs. And that seemed to be a major complaint in the low end reviews that I have read.

However what most concerns me is several things that I would like your opinions on.

Story: How is it? Are the Characters fleshed out and deep? Is the story any good?

Music: Does it measure up to other JRPGs? how is it compared to FFX?

Graphics: Are there any heavy framerate drops like in TLR?

Technical Problems: I hear the loading is actually pretty bad is this true? Can this be fixed by installing the game to the HDD using the NXE?

LO is the best JRPG this generation on any of the consoles. If you like traditional JRPGs you will absolutley fall in love with it.

I think I asked this before but I forgot the answer, do you have to install all four discs at once or can you do it individually?

The thing that made me dislike it was the combat, which got repetitive after a while. If you don't mind that, then every other aspect of the game was amazing. The game changes its pacing in Disc 4, but that shouldn't be a problem if you're really into the game.

Best JRPG this gen for me.

The graphics are awesome.

I have no problems with loading times after i installed it.

GET THIS GAME!

I bought it a couple of months ago, and I loved it. I went back and read some reviews, and I was stunned. Loading times? I never saw it load for more than a couple of seconds. They must have patched the hell out of this game. There were a couple plot holes, but nothing worse than any other jrpg I've played. I got it for $27, but it was well worth $60!

my complaint about the game and most JRPG's is that bosses are insanely and unnecessarily difficult, I don't know about anyone else but I'm stuck on the boss that charges magic and paralyzes you after his attack, while only one of my characters can wear yellow band

Hmm I only had problems with the bosses at the beginning of the game. After that it went well.

that is probably one of the hardest in the game actually, in fact even in the walkthrough it comments on how he's one of the harder first bosses in most any JRPG.

Flagship JRPG of the 360, a definite must get.
