Remember Mistwalker Studios, you know, the studo created by Hironobu Sakaguchi after he left Square Enix? The studio that’s made Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey for the Xbox 360, but also had their last project Cry On cancelled?

Well, guess what, they’re baaack.

According to a new blog post on the Mistwalker website (this is according to rough translation, we should point out), they have a new project in production and have shown the game behind closed doors so far. We dont know anything else other then that, if anybody can translate it better then Google, be our guest.

E3? Bet on it. Xbox 360? Bet on it, if Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon, but dont rule out the PS3. Release this year? Dont bet on it.

Their last project, Cry On, was cancelled on Christmas Day 2008

You don't do that for handhelds and they aren't working in PS3, so it's a 360 fo' sho'.

Hopefully its Lost Odyssey 2!!

And if it goes PS360, i reakon the PS3 version could outsell the 360 version 2:1... simply for the Japan market.

I think the deal was 3 exclusive games to the 360. If Cry ed was cancelled, the game could go multi.

I guarantee it will not be on PS3 if it is Lost Odyssey 2. I think Microsoft hads the right's to the series. Even if they didn't they would not let that one go to Sony. Not after how well it did.



 How our favorite systems are just like humans and sometimes have issues finding their special someone...

Xbox 360 wants to Kinect &  PS3 wants to Move!  Why are both systems having such relationship problems?  The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.
