I'm doing mine too, here are some info and details but is just the normal stuff.

Tittle: Souless(Working title)
Developer: Shido's Interactive(Yes, the best devs so far in gaming history)
Genre: Action with some RPG and Adventure elements.
Platform: Next gen consoles(PS4/Xbox720/Wii2)
Publisher: Shido's Interacive(Yes, the best publishers in the world)

The game will be played in the FP perspective but can be change to 3rd person view but is not reccomendable, will take place in 5 USA cities and 20 cities around the world. You character will have 3 days of life, after that your character's body will die and will start the process of descomposition, some people will notice this, so you have to cover and clean the body to not get any unnecessary attention. After 4 days of being a dead body you will loose your soul. More details to come soon. This is just to get the hype.

Huh. That's pretty interesting. There would be a lot of potential witht he decomposition mechanic. I could see a lot of replayability depending on what parts of the game you play alive and what parts dead. Would the levels play in a linear fashion? Or would you be able to do a fair bit of back tracking?

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Title:  Koopa Kwest
Developer:  Intelligent Systems
Genre:  RPG/Adventure
Platform:  Super Wii (Wii 2)
Publisher:  Nintendo

In Koopa Kwest, you will play not Mario, not Bowser, but an ordinary Koopa looking to join the army of King Bowser.  Easily recruited into the ranks of Bowser's vast army, you will find yourself amongst your fellow soldiers be them Goombas, Koopas, Hammer Bros., Boomerang Bros., Fire Bros., or even just other Koopas.  Your goal will be to successfully complete missions assigned by superiors and rise through the ranks to potentially even assist King Bowser himself.

When not serving his Evilness, players will be able to explore the vast world around them including the many diverse continents.  Initially only the continents of Dark Land and Pipe Land will be available but other vast continents such as those of Sky Land, Ice Land, Water Land, and more will be unlocked.

Few will be receptive to an agent of the Koopa Kollective however so one must be prepared to battle should the need arise.  Battles in Koopa Kwest will be turn-based affairs however do not expect go into battle with just your team and the opponents for in battle the sides are not always so clear and your response to one team may dictate their response to you both in battle and later on.

As you battle and gain experience in the form of Koopa Points, you can upgrade the shell you are currently using to gain new powers and abilities.  Throughout your adventure, you will find new shells which each allow you to do more things from simple offensive and defensive moves to far more specialized moves.  You must pick your abilities wisely as you may only wear one shell at a time and not all the moves and abilities you gain are transferable between all shells.

Missions in Koopa Kwest will range from solo missions where the fate of the entire Koopa Empire rests upon your shoulders to squad-based attacks on Mushroom Kingdom towns and castles where you must rely on your fellow teammates to complete their objectives.  Often times, you decide whether or not to go on a mission and sometimes new missions can come up during times where you would be away on other missions so think carefully before accepting an assignment.  Choices you make early on and the missions you perform greatly affect how the game will play out.  Depending on how the story progresses there may even be full-scale army movements.

These missions will often use the continent they take place in to great advantage.  Expect something very different from a mission in Pipe Land than you would in, say, Water Land.

After finishing the game, it will be far from over as there will be a minimum of 7 different endings depending on how the story progresses.  Also after finishing the game, expect to see a whole slew of unlockables such as New Game+ where you start with all the experience of a previous game and New Game- where you start at the bottom again but with a special new shell, the Paratroopa shell.  Rumor is that if one finishes the game with the Paratroopa shell that yet another even more powerful shell will be unlocked... Even better, with each new shell you unlock in this manner, you also unlock the ability to gain an ending unique to that shell.  Many other unlockables are planned as well so stay tuned.

Finally, a cooperative mode is currently under consideration and will be included if time allows.

My ideal game would be...
All Nitnedo mascots, as well as other recognizable mascots, duking it out to the death, with courses and muic from all the series. The game would be easily accessible, yet hard to master, and highly customizable. And it would be online, but the online would be free.
That would be my ideal game, and a game 95% like it is coming out...
prepare to brawl :D

I've heard that when Miyamoto designs a game he figures out the control scheme and mechanics first then decides on what the story will be.

Name: Battle Angel Alita: The Motorball Chronicles.

Genre: Racing/Fighting.

Platform: Wii

Developer: Retro Studios.

Players: Up to 20 players online.

Story: Following closely the story of Battle Angel Alita manga, you are a promising young Motorballer, one of the most violent and exiting sport of the future. With your cyborg body you participate in speed races to capture the notorious Motorball, all while melee fights erupt between the runners at speeds up to 200 mph. Your goal is to get to the finish line with the motorball( A mechanical ball, bouncing at the track.) in hand, or to obliterate
all opponents before you.

Controls: Using the Wiiboard and the Wiimote/Nunchuck combo, you race on your turbo rollerblades in-game, tying to keep your balance on the Wiiboard, while using the Wiimote/Chuch to attack with your melee weapons that are attached to your hands. You shift your weight on the board to make turns and dodge attacks, while you move on the track with the the analog stick. With the Remote/chuck combo you can attack depending on you melee weapon, by doing a wave with the hand you want to attack with. The attacks can be done with 8-axis free movement and you can use z-targeting to lock-on on your opponent. While locked, pressing the d-pad lets you select which body part you wish to attack (Head, L.Arm, R. Arm, Legs). You van dodge enemy attacks, by shiffing you weight on the board, or block them with your hands by raising or lowering the Wiimote/Nunchuck. The fights can go airborn too, by pressing the A button to jump. While jumping, you can activate focus mode that slows down aerial movement, for blocking attacks or brandishing your own slashes.

Stages/Gameplay: 18 racing tracks of various length and difficulity. They are devided to 6, depending on the league you participate. There are three leagues, you start at the lowest 3rd one, and you work your way up by wining races and improving your ranking. Each league has 100 players, but you can work your way up by eliminating players rankink above you. Going for the kills may improve your average, but it won't bring money as much as winning the race, because you need need it to buy replacement parts for your cyborg body that gets strained, between and during matches, or buy more efficient weapons. During the races, you can make pit stops, allowing you to change body parts or weapons that got damaged. Each part of your body can take a specific amount of damage before it's destroyed. Total hand damage reprieves you of your weapons, Leg damage is make you unable to continue to race while total head damage results to your death. Between the races there are event matches that reflect actual events on the Alita manga univerce, allowing you to create aliances or hostility towards you by key characters. Friends will help you during a race, while enemies will target you first for elimination. You can affect the outcome of the game with befriending, opposing or even killing key racers adding an RPG element to the game.

Weapons: All weapons must be attached to the hands and must be of melee combat. Projectile weapons are not allowed. The list includes Elbow Blades, Metallic Claws, Flails, Morningstars, Chainsaws, Hammers, Spiked Armor Hands and others.

That's the basic layout of the game. I would love it if it was made because i'm a huge Alita fan. If the James Cameron movie does come out, this might see the light of day.

Here's a game idea I've been thinking about for a while.

Warning: This game is not even remotely PC.

Working Title- Fallout: Iraq
Systems- X360, PC, PS3, Wii.
Genre- RPG
Developer- Black Isle Studios (or wherever the makers of Fallout 1+2 are now.)

Engine: Mostly the same as the fallout 1+2 engine with some graphical changes to make it look like modern-day Iraq.

Setting:  Modern Day Iraq

Story: The protagonist is a Kurd from northern Iraq whose father (a businessman) has just been kidnapped by thugs in Baghdad. Being the most able member of the family, the protagonist is dispatched to save his father. Unfortunately, the family business isn’t doing so great and the protagonist will need skill and cunning to either get together the ransom money or find another way to free his father.

Along the way, the player will have much the same freedom afforded them in the previous fallout games. They can be a good guy that tries to help out the innocent, they can play the role of mercenary and work for the highest bidder or they can be an out and out villain that kills children for the hell of it (or they can be in any grey moral area they choose.)

The game will feature an overland map of Iraq and the player can travel to different key locations (Baghdad, Al-Qaeda base in Anbar, Kirkuk, Starting Kurdish Village, Dick Cheney’s Secret Bunker, etc.) Traveling about on this map will prompt random encounters (like bandits, U.S. Military patrols, refugees, etc.)

Naturally, there will be a super-secret underlying plot going on. Maybe the US government has insidious plans for Iraq’s oil money. Perhaps Osama Bin Laden is coming to town with a heinous terrorist plot that must be stopped. Something like that.

Factions within the game that the player may work for or battle against:

The U.S. Military: Doesn’t pay especially well or trust the player very easily but is a potential source of limitless and high-tech resources. Potential missions include recon/intelligence work. A VERY dangerous foe if you pdo a lot of evil stuff.

Others to be detailed later:

Shiite gangs (including Muqtada Al-Sadr‘s boys)

Sunni insurgents

Al-Qaeda in Iraq

Kurdish Factions

U.S. Contractors

The Iraqi government

Base criminal elements and other thugs

Tribal leaders and warlords

Here is what I want.

Name: The Dark Age: Cry of the Empies
Genre:  Simulator/RTS
Publisher/Developer: Anyone who woud do it.
System: PC/PS3/360

Concept:  A Empire simulator, with very in depth castle construction (stone for stone if you want), And a decent RTS with overhead for attack units.

Coming to life.

Starting with your empire in, The Dark Age, you dont have too much. You are a newly appointed baron over a small plot of land, which you will need to cultivate, protect, and expand into. As you gain in wealth and power, you can buy new lands from other barons, and expand your small empire. However, you are not yet king, and are forbidden to have an army. You expand rapidly, and become a major power. You then start a 'revolt' and capture the capital, and become king. You then gain the ability to give land to 'barons' to take care of stuff. You also get the ability to take away. If he isnt doing his job, you find someone who will. At this stage, you now have an army. A real army, trained to fight, kill, and conquer. However, now that you are king, the other 'empires' want your land. And they will do anything for it, and you need to upgrade the old kings crumbling fortress, and turn it into a mighty castle. (or whatever you want, so long as you think it will keep your head on your shoulders when your invaded)

At this phase you can design your castle the way you want. Brick for brick, design a 'wall' template, to determine how think it is, then just drag/drop the wall you designed in large 'chunks' Design towers the way you want. And all the while running accurate physics simulators. Also, to build the castle, you will need rock, have a 'accurate' rock quarry, where you can watch the 'serfs' cut the rock, and then haul it to the castle, one rock at a time. (not litterally, but visually see the quarry grow, to engulf massive areas, and deep depths)

Run accurate physics models for the 'weapons'. Also have the ability to pick from 'hundreds' of options for seige equipment as well, becuase a small catapult, wont break a 'ultra' thick wall. So your gonna need to build that Thing that launches rocks the size of houses.

Also, to make things more complex, a highly detailed economy, with trade, happyness, and other assorted things that highly effect the peoples happyness. Just because you, the king, is safe in that castle. Your peole outside are dieing. Their not gonna stand for that. The might just start helping the invading army, instead of you!

Overall, this would be a game that would rival the 'galactic' space games, that allow you to conquer the universe. This would be similar, except, its in the middle ages, real time, and a blast, to watch that wall, collapse, block for block, like, a real wall would when that house sized rock slams into the wall. This game would not be for the faint of heart, and it's not for everyone. But I feel there's enough people wanting this, to make it worth while.
