Forums - Sony - Western push for Monster Hunter Freedom Unite - PSP bundle unveiled

Yeah but how many people in the West like to play ad hoc? This isn't Japan where they're really busy and just play on the trains or something.

It really depends if it's P2P or not. So far we have no confirmation.

Yeah I know you were talking about quality.

Not many.

But if Ad-Hoc Party releases, then those ad-hoc become completely online. Then you don't need two PSPs in the same area. I could play with hunter alien even though he's in Romania. That would make a big difference.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

I'd be more hyped if there were pics...

Oh nice, how many bundles does PSP have now set for summer? Lol. I look forward to seeing how this game does.

1. Bundles - they could do something similar for MH3, you never know. We'll see.

2. XBL is $50 a year but it's still fine for people. I'm guessing since they want a big fanbase over here it won't be P2P. In Japan it could be though. Plus normal online > ad-hoc over here anyway.

3. Same as 2.

4. Maybe in that Japan...but we don't really know over here.

@Zlejedi

But I never claimed that...this game will be bought by original MH fans who might buy a Wii for MH3 or who own both a Wii and PSP. And by Wii only owners as well who may not have played a MH before.

@Xen

It should beat MHF. It *could* beat MHF2. MHU I doubt it (it's over 3 mil in just Japan...)

Has Nintendo ever bundled a non Nintendo game with one of their hardwares? If so which ones? I seriously don't remember any.
