I watched Dead Space: Extration Design interview yesterday and the new trailer for Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles today. Both games look pretty good and should turn out to be good games.

Then it came to me. Both are suvival horror games and on rail shooters (or a different take of on rail shooters). Which game would I want to pick up if I only have budget for one when they are released this fall?  Currently I'm leaning toward Dead Space: Extration. Although I would like another adventure with Leon (and Ada!), I think Dead Space: Extration creates a better atmosphere so far and has a better use of IR with weapons. Of course it will still depend on the final reviews but right now I would go for Dead Space: Extraction.

What about you guys?

DS Extraction. Headshots and zombies are overrated.

Both haha. But probably Darkside Chronicles more because it has Leon in it.

Hey and I'm a huge fan of the Resident Evil storyline (disregarding RE5 of course).  So to get more details on it through things like this like Umbrella Chronicles did makes me happy as well.  But still Leon in it is instant win and buy.  But I've got Dead Space: Extraction preordered and ready to buy as well.  Ever since Overkill, I've been on an arcade shooter high haha.

2.) You don't have to rectify your Leon fandom.

1. Well if you want to get into technicalities yes but still it's like arcade shooters haha.
