Your calculations dont take into account what the PS3 needs to catch up from the last 2 years.

 

Say what you will about PS3 fanboys overhyping, but I bet you've heard of every game on that PS3 list, while I am probably missing several on the 360 list.

And what do you mean, "catch up from the last 2 years"? I never said the PS3 would outsell the 360 this holiday season in hardware or software, I'm just pointing out that comparing Halo ODST to a single game is pointless, because unlike last year, quantity is in Sony's favour in holiday 2009.

From where does that "quality myth" came from anyway ?

So far, the only people I met, gloryfying the so-called superiority of PS3 games, are on this forum... nobody IRL... weird...



 

Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

If there were a lot of people glorifying it, then thy would just be called blind fan boys. Why can't PS3 owners hold an subjective opinion that they have a lot of games that will be just as or better than ODST in terms of quality? (Although NOTHING has comeout yet...)

although i'm a fan of the halo series, I do not hold a grudge against the ps3, sony is selling its console quite well to japan and that proves its potential.

The Xbox360 released November 2005. We are heading towards May 2009 and there are 2 Halo Games on the Xbox360, both from a totally different genre. Your point?

Halo OSDT will simply CRUSH ever other game this year...With a projected lower sale's price, this game is going to dominate, and for all the swipes at Halo being overused...don't freaking make me laugh...Halo 3 came out two years ago from the projected release of Halo OSDT...I guess Gears of War 2 was over used as well? Oh...I guess Uncharted 2 is over used as well...just simply stupid comments. Halo ODST is like Mike in his prime with the clear-out for a go at the rim...MONEY!

Because in real life, there are still MANY people who say "360 is better because the PS3 has no games". Those are what you call...the uneducated masses

90% of halo 3 owners probably will be getting this game;

xbox 360 userbase is bigger than PS3;

KZ2 is competing with halo wars, that's the closest comparison against a Halo title and by the way RTS games not that popular in consoles...
