Is Lost Odyssey that game with the horribly done cutscenes and that girl that always says "kay kay kayk aykaykaykkaykaykay!!!!"

?

I'd go as far to say that Superman64 is a better game. :P

Nah.  Lost Odyssey has some of the best voice acting and cutscenes (especially, the facial expressions) of any game I've ever played.  Only the two children are annoying.......sometimes.  I don't know which game has the "kay kay kay" thing in it, but I'm interested, for some strange reason!

Doh, it just hit me! I'm thinking of Star Ocean 4!... I believe....

have you even played tov or lo?

Nope, but I plan on buying ToV on this wednesday.

Lost Odyssey is my 2nd favorite this generation with Tales being 3rd.

Tales of Vesperia

you seem to be out spoken g-value

Maybe but some of these people who said LO have not played/finished ToV and that includes you. For the people who have played and finished ToV and still say LO i guess thats just there opinion. There are alot of people on this site and other sites who feels ToV is the best jrpg this gen but they have not come out on this thread to say that just like there are alot of people on this site who didn't like LO who did not come out for this thread. I guess thats just the way it is. I don't mnd though.

i have to give you that one(but in my defense i also havent beaten lo either).

How far did you get in ToV and how far did you get in LO?

*spoilers*

i just assassinated the ragou(?)(i went back to find missions/level up) and became a renegade(i think). and in lo im stuck in the temple of enlightenment.

You just reached the part when the storyline really kicks off.

i know i was super excited when that happened, but i barely(and i mean barely) won that last fight so im going back to level up.

but i just love the fighting system in lo. nothing can beat a good turnbased rpg in my books

My list in order of how great or how well I liked the current JRPG this gen. (Can't wait to add WKC, FF 13, End of Eternity and Magna Carta 2 to my list :D)

#1. Star Ocean: The Last Hope

#2. Lost Odyssey

#3. Tales of Vesperia

#4. The Last Remnant

#5. Blue Dragon

#6. Infinite Undiscovery

#7. Eternal Sonata

#8. Enchanted Arms

(Did not add Valkyria Chronicles simply because it is a SRPG thats my only reason.)

I know you will hate me for saying this, to an extent g-value, but I have to say LO. Simply because the emotion is so gripping in the game. ToV is a top notch jrpg however, and I recomend everyone to play it. :)

How our favorite systems are just like humans and sometimes have issues finding their special someone...

Xbox 360 wants to KinectPS3 wants to Move!  Why are both systems having such relationship problems?  The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.

Why would i hate you for your opinion? As long as you thought ToV was an awesome game thats all that matters. Even if you hated ToV it would not bother me much because its your opinion. Plus I know there are a crap load of people who absolutely LOVED ToV like from this website

Why exactly did you like Star Ocean? I'm at the end of Disc 2 and it's one of the worst designed JRPGs I've ever played. It's crashed on me so many times, it's infuriating. (I even have it installed!)

Out of all the hours I've played it its never crashed on me. I suggest you take it back to wherever you bought it from and ask for a new copy.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

Looking through a good deal of answers in this thread, I see alot of "well I haven't played Tales of Vesperia...but Lost odyssey was great so I'll choose that" or something very similar. So grains of salt are neccesary here.
