If it was the combat style in IU that you hated I doubt you will enjoy SO4 or ToV much. I would still give ToV a shot though because everything about it was a lot of fun.

i really did not like the combat in ToV... that kind of ruined the game for me.... the story was great.... but Lost Odyssey had a great story... the music was amazing.... and the battle system was great.... so LO for me

tales of Vesperia. Its true; people who don't like Action RPGs won't be too fond of it's combat. Euphoria...IU's combat compared to either SO4 or Tales is mediocre at best. If you like action JRPGs with colorful graphics, deep combat, tons of charm and the best character developement you can find in a Japanese game, you'll like Vesperia. Oh, and that kaykaykaykaykay thing is from Lymle in Star Ocean 4 :P



GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

I'd go as far to say that Superman64 is a better game. :P

 

Nah.  Lost Odyssey has some of the best voice acting and cutscenes (especially, the facial expressions) of any game I've ever played.  Only the two children are annoying.......sometimes.  I don't know which game has the "kay kay kay" thing in it, but I'm interested, for some strange reason!

 

Doh, it just hit me! I'm thinking of Star Ocean 4!... I believe....
