Forums - Microsoft - Lost Odyssey just did what no other game has ever made me do.

I thought that scene was corny personally.

Pixel Art can be fun.

yeh it made me do something as well.... read.... i read every single memmory that i discovered..... that was a lot of reading and i enjoed every single story

Hmmm first game to have made me cry was FFX and Lost Odyssey was able to do what other games couldn't do to me... Cry countless times. I blame those dreams of his.

I don't get people who can't cry over those things (yes men included), makes em seem emotionless. T_T They're so sad...

That scene was alright. Ending to FFX was far worse for me. I was really upset.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

You just made me realize I've never cried to a game ... Though, LO sure pulled at my heartstrings a lot. Mainly with novels, but also with that scene.

The closest I've come to crying for a videogame? Definitely the ending of MGS3.

Lost Odyssey definately has a lot of emotional moments. That reminds me, I still haven't finished Disc 4... Didn't cry yet though... Very sad tone throughout the game...

well it got me.... if it gets worse I'm in trouble!

I thought the end was more...powerful.  Though, welll....no spoilers.

Some of the dreams were fantastic I thought.  I really hope an LO2 is announced soon!

I think my biggest problem with that scene is that we barely even knew the person. Sure, we saw them in flashbacks and such, but there wasn't really an emotional connection built, yet. I felt bad for the people that knew the person, but I think it would have been better if we'd gotten to spend some time with them and formed some sort of attachment.

Off topic: What the heck was up with Mr and Mrs immortal? They're married, and finally meet after almost a lifetime, and then they're like: "Hey. What's up?" It should have been much more emotional, and heartfelt! Even Gears 2 made being married seem more important.

It was a sad moment but I didn't cry, I should finish the game soon though.

It WAS pretty sad but I didn't cry or anything. I felt sadder during MGS3, Final Fantasy X, and Gears of War 2. The end of Lost Odyssey was pretty powerful too.

really???  never affected me at all...  strange how different things affect different people isnt it.

Yeah didn't affected me aswell.... Possible because I expected it...
