From the trailers I have seen graphics wise GT5 > PGR4 > FM2

Since I prefer sims over arcade racers I am sure I will enjoy GT5 gameplay better than PGR4. However IMO it will be tough for GT5 to top Forza gameplay wise. The physics and damage system are awesome and definitely change the way you race. If GT5 can match that, it would be awesome.

Sales wise this gen I think Halo outsells GT5.
- Halo has the larger install base.
- Halo has way more hype, bringing in more casuals.
- 360 has a higher percentage of FPS fans, than PS3 has racer fans.
- GT4 sales were about half of what GT3 were on a larger install base. If the series is so popular what happened to all the buyers?
- Yes GT series has and will move systems. However some of the sales have to be because it was the best racer on by far the most dominant console. That isn't the case this gen. It's still the best racer, but PS3 is far from the dominant console.

i don't think pgr is in the same leagues as gt, i was expecting more from forza, i never thought of pgr as a sim, wasn't it an arcade racer before?

it doesn`t look better, it looks different.
but i give that trailer 10+. =)

p.s. GT5 can make much better replays and more realistic. =)

 I was just getting ready to say that selnor. He is truly a troll for saying 20fps. That means that the game would be glitching and chugging the whole time.

Yea PGR does it the same too. They are both good games, but PGR leaning more to since its new and becoming a well establish franchise.

30 fps is a bare minimum. On my PC, I never play anything below 60 though.

GT5 looks freaking awesome, period.  I found myself laughing, though, when the guy they were interviewing said that they had reworked the AI.  Um, I saw the video buddy, it looks like the same stupid AI from GT3 and GT4.  Maybe they have reworked it, but in every video I've seen of GT5, it looks like zero improvement.

Still, I'd rather play a GT than a PGR.  I like arcade racers like F-Zero and I like driving simulators like GT.  PGR feels like it's trying to be both at the same time.  I'd rather play Forza 2 on a 360 than PGR4.
