YUGIOH

If the meaning of life is yugioh, I might as well kill myself now.

It is because you don´t feel the heart of the cards.

One thing is the meaning of life and something different is the objective of life. Your answer is perfectly reasonable if the question would have been what is the objective of life. But I understand something different by its meaning.

What about people with family, normal social life and enough money to enjoy a modern life going to the psychiatric because they find no meaning in their lives? How is that possible?

Most of the claims of people with suicidal tendencies are that they find their life meaningless. And how come countries with such high economical standards have so many suicides?

The meaning of life and what people want out of life aren't necessarily the same things.

People can become depressed if they aren't getting what they want out of life, so perhaps the desires of people in developed countries is different than the desires of people in third world countries.  There is comfort in ignorance, so a group of people in a third world country who are struggling to get by may take a lot of comfort in their religion, while a group in a first world country is better off but they no longer find as much comfort in religion and look elsewhere for comfort.

In general, the more educated and wealthy you are the less religious you are, so that may have something to do with it.  By the way, I'm not arguing for religion, I'm athiest myself.

Assuming something happens after you die, and using the Bible as a source, the entire meaning of your life will be to worship God.  Think of it as being in church for eternity.

Keeping the same assumptions, Hell doesn't exist.  There is no mention of Hell in the Torah and the Christians created Hell from the idea of Hades, and since we de facto assumed Greek mythology to be incorrect Hades doesnt exist either.  That means Christians like you would worship God for eternity while others, like myself, would cease to exist.  Since thats what we were expecting anyway, its a win win for both of us.

Boobs. Yes it is that simple /thread.
