There are only 2 commandments:

Be excellent to each other.

Party on, dudes.

I'm adopting this as my philosophy from now on. Bill and Ted ftw.

It's worked wonders for me and my loved ones for years.  It's compatible with all other good philosophies too.  There's no reason that being excellent and partying shouldn't be combined in this way.  That's my problem with most religions.  Our bodies should be considered gifts, and tools for partying harder.

Try to be nice to people, avoid eating fat, read a good book every now and then, get some walking in and try to live together in peace and harmony with people of all creeds and nations.

And I totally didn't rip that off of any excellent movie or anything.

How am I going to steal a philosophy from the future? It was given to us. As a gift.

Besides, you said the exact same thing, but wordier, and not presented in a neat 2-commandment package.

"God gave rock and roll to you, gave rock and roll to you, put it in the soul of everyone."

Pretty much, but reading is important, and getting some exercise in isn't too bad either.

Honestly, besides ripping off Monty Python's the Meaning of Life, I think that life, by itself, is just a cosmic practical joke, and has no inherent meaning other than what you define for yourself.

Partying hard and being excellent to each other is one of the better ones I've heard, though.

Yeah I think it's all a joke too, but if I had to follow 2 commandments, I know where to find 'em.

I think reading and exercise take care of your mind and body, which maximize the amount of excellence and partying you can do.

whatever it is I doubt the answer is on VGChartz

Life is an accident. It has no meaning but what we give it.
