I always wanted to try that game and I think I'll get the opportunity today. I saw some gameplay and it looked scary and I like how your character can be guided by your dead wife or.......the devil I think.

So, can someone else tell me how the game is?

I enjoyed it, had lots of fun with the whole—good vs evil choices presented, and enjoyed the gun game play

Plus some of the enemies you fight are creepy

Have fun with it and enjoy the general story

It's good in my opinion. If you like dark settings and lots of Action it's definately worth it. I just disliked that it feels boring after some time to fight the same type of Monsters again and again per level. There is some Variation but sometimes it feels like every level contains only 3 different types that all suck up a lot of ammo. The story is quite good alltough nothing new an I like that you can influence the end. The atmosphere is good and it's worth a look if you can get it cheap in my opinion.

I don't know how the console counterparts are, but in the PC-Version I had some minor graphical glitches just for the protocol but nothing that bad. Hope you have fun with it, that's all that counts :)

What makes the suffering good? The gore, the pretty good story, great setting and overall quality gameplay... it was a great game IMO and I loved every second of it. The enemies are creepy, and I mean Nemesis like creepy ( that tells you a lot in my case :P ).

Ties that bind on the other hand was weaker... when in some places you used that overpowered rocket launcher it quickly became a third person doom clone for me :|

yeah i still remember the beginning and every other cell getting cleared out....yeah that was a good game

ugh...game sucks. But its appeal is gore and swear words...

You want a good game like that try Ghost Hunter.

will be kind of dated now

Certainly not the graphics! But, the ability to change into a monster, and some surprising moments make the game worth a few hours of play time.
