yea he should be. you didn't have to jump down it was an option. you could stay up top and there was a merchant up there. I think there is like three different ways to go at that point of the stage. I went back and he was still there. If you help him he will fight along side you for a bit. Now he is in the nexus I'm not sure what he is doing there.

What do you need to defeat that red dragon in 1-1? I left him alone but I heard there was some decent loot around an area where he patrols.

Its great to see such a large community for this game. I ordered my copy from amazon and it should arrive next week. Im very excited for this game and the PS3.

yea it is a lot of fun. the first time I seen a ghost playing I thought it was really cool. the deaths are funny too. especially in the nexus

I did it with patience and a lot of arrows

but there also is the possibility to kill him with poison/death cloud and soul arrow/light / moving soul arrow and very good timing I guess

In case it was not mentioned already, it's good to get to 4-2 as quick as possible. 4-2 is the best place for soul farming on your first playthrough. I don't remember anymore, but I think you can get 5k-7k per run and the run takes less than a minute to complete...

He isn't dead, just go through the level again. As soon as you pass the first Blue eyed knight and head down the stairs just beyond him. Just jump off the ledge.

 

Faced the Flame Lurker, and just got owned by him. A Levels has put a setback on my DS gaming time so looks like am in a stand still.

Flame lurker is the hardest second level boss in the game.
