I figured they were since they get to start off at Soul Level 1. Gives me more freedom when it comes to leveling up.

Yeah, you want to start as low as possible. It makes me question being a wanderer sometimes.

I got owned by the boss in the tutorial.

I know that is supposed to happen, but it was cool anyways.


I am really liking the combat. Parry + Riposte owns. I kept doing it to every enemy.

I got owned, then got back to where I died, regained my lost souls and pressed on.

I got to a set of stairs, then I almost took the looong way down, didn't realize the stairs went around in a circle and assumed they were still pressed up against the wall. Phew that was close.

So I pressed ever onward once again, ran into a horde on the steps and died...

I pretty much mastered 1-1.

Well I have die a few times, but I have regained all my souls each time. Nothing too hard yet. I keep dying because I keep messing with those 2 dragons and the red eyed knight. I am trying to get him to fall down the stairwell.

Demon's Souls pwns! :) Loving it so far though I've barely played it. Demon's Souls > All WRPG's

Just played it for an hour or so. Good so far. I'm having fun watching other player's death. I lol'd hard when some guy rolled to evade an enemy's attack, but he fell into a pit. I died once (twice if you count the tutorial) so far. Some ass pushed me down. I was very close to the edge. The message feature is pretty cool.
