@mm: Well I tried to fight him and he killed me in two hits. I had no chance, so I guess I need to go to some other locations until I level up enough to kill him. He's a ruthless killer and now I can't get back to the adjudicator. This is very frustrating.

Yeah you can de-level. If you want to lose levels then do this
- Invade someones world as a black phantom
- Commit suicide (ie Jump of a ledge) and you will lose a level but not any souls you gained.

Dont worry about losing those 12,000 souls. You can get souls very fast at 4-2 (4000 souls every 2 mins). Before you try World 4 again press start in the nexus and go to world tendency. If World 4 is pure black then DO NOT attempt it as Satsuki will kill you easily at low levels. Just join someones game in World 4 as a Soul and pass the boss then die in the nexus and repeat until it gets away from pure black.
Ill be on today. Im still 65 havent de-leveled anymore yet but will get to 60 if you guys can get to 50 sorta meet half way.

I'm pretty sure you can group with people more than 10 levels away from you. Just beat the boss of 2-2 today with MM when he was level 53 and I was 41.
Alright... I'm lvl63 and just about done my first playthrough. Just need to trade in a few last demon souls, farm some darkmoonstone and that should be it. the 5-1,5-2 and 5-3 bosses are easy.

Ok so I quit my game earlier today and when I loaded it back up, I noticed my world tendency for world 4 went back to neutral. I didn't do anything except quit the game. I guess it's glitched or something.
Anyway, I beat 4-1 today, so I've finished 1-1, 1-2, 2-1, and 4-1. I'm now level 36. I may be on later tonight if anyone is interested in some co-op.

^ quitting in the nexus makes that happen, it's a glitch. log out in one of the worlds.
