@routsounmanman

You're right, I haven't tampered with those stats for so long that i've mixed them up xD

Nice killing skills, I was tempted to one shot the Leechmonger with Firestorm and my Kris Blade +5, but I backed down and used the BlueBlood with Black Turpentine :P

You have 35 strenght already? :O Why can't you increase your strenght even more, the game doesn't allow you? I've never encountered anything like that in my playthroughs.

I think it's at 35...but when I upgrade strength, it say:

Strength: 35 > 35

Defense: 25 > 27 (made up, I can't remember)

Another stat: 25 > 27 (again made up but it increases)

I don't know why the strength doesn't increase when I upgrade my soul thingy.

@sabby_e17

But what does the Strength stat in your menu screen appears like? It can be that your attack strength is not augmenting, that depends on the type of weapon that you've equipped at the time of upgrading your Strength Stat.

What Soul Level are you? 35 strength seems rather high, unless you've been upgrading only your strength stat.

As far as we know, there are no restrictions on how much or which stat you raise. Are you certain you have enough souls to level up? Can you post a picture of it?

I can't post a pic today because I don't have my PS3 with me atm.

Tomorrow I'll post a pic. I want to increase my Strength...

Can you kill people in the Nexus?

Also, I don't like the fact that I can't increase my strenght. It stays at 35

That's your damage that isn't increasing stop putting points into strength....you made the same mistake I did, you can keep going, what I did was I went Dex immediately after and because of my fuck up weapon choices became limited and MC/Sticky Compound were the few choices left. I mentioned before there are diminishing returns and past 30 STR, the damage from Str modifier starts to become significantly less. You're actually only supposed to put enough strength to be able to equip your gear without penalties. What SL are you? If you're under 50 you might as well reroll since you know more about the game you'll be able to get back to where you were fast.

How further along the game are you? Have you finished NG+ yet?

Started Valkyria Chronicles, last thing I did was Maneaters followed by Old Monk. I believe almost everything in NG+ is done except for world 5 again. I'm thinking about rerolling a character, I had fun with the MC and it's great, but it was a weapon I was forced into since I didn't understand stats or know more about different weapons. By the time I did understand it all many of my points were in either dex or str so it was an easy choice to go MC, although at that point I should've remade.

If I had a choice to redo everything I would've gone with a Regalia since it doesn't require any stats for damage, or a faith/magic build. STR is like the worst stat out of all of them, the only thing it adds is more item weight scratch that str adds nothing literally. I might make a low level PVP character, if I go Regalia at SL 60 I can have that 1.5k hp and still do 540 damage with no points in anything. If I invade with a cling ring I'll have like 1050 life at SL 60, tankiest low level ever.

@Grahamhsu

Bear in mind that in order to have 1.5K HP, you'll need to be at 50 Vitality, and that to use Regalia you'll need to have at least 20 Strength, 14 Dexterity and 12 Magic&Faith.

Even if you start out as a Knight (It has the most balanced start up for those stats), you'll still need 53 Soul Levels to get all those stats (and that's counting out any balances and corrections that you might make in order to compensate any other low level stats), so you'll need to be at least SL 67 to use Northern Regalia effectively.

Also, to get the entire boost needed for the 540 attack power, you'll need to be in either Pure Black or Pure White Character Tendency, otherwise the attack power of the Regalia will drop massively, to 270

But that's not the hard part, you'll also need to complete the Flamelurker fight at NG+, which at those low stats will be a pain indeed, because you won't have access to the "good" weapons needed, nor will you enough magic points nor intelligence points to use the spells needed for a Stealth approach (Poison Cloud or Death Cloud). You could try using a Heavy Crossbow, but you'll need to proficient in lock on skills without the Flamelurker actually seeing you.

Actually I think I have a way to get my character the item at lvl 1. See I have all of those items right now on my SL 126, all I have to do is find someone trustworthy that has a level 10 character, than make the regalia. After I invade 106 games as a black phantom and jump straight off a cliff until I am lvl 20. Next I summon my lvl 10 friend as a blue phantom, drop him the items, he takes them, and I log into my lvl 1. He summons my blue phantom and does the same, boom at lvl 1 I have one of the most awesome swords evar. I proceed to put 20 str, 14 dex, 12 magick and faith wield it and pump vita after. I'll probably stop lvling around SL50-60 I don't care if I only hit 700-900 life that's either the same amount of life or more than anyone I'm invading even in their body form.
