Don't use piercing weapons against the tower knight, it won't do much damage against him. My suggestion is to use Long Swords two handed, since it doesn't matter if you use a shield against the Tower Knight, his attacks will go through shields.

If you can, use Blunt weapons for maximum damage.

So, could I use a Bastard sword?

Tower night killed me again, though things were going well.

Should I use a Mail Breaker against the Tower Night.

If you want an easy way to kill him

get a bow + around 60-70 arrows, go up the stairs and aim at him

when he tries to fire him beam that ur chance o hit him with an arrrow then move to the side to evade the beam

keep it up and you can kill him easily

I prefer fighting him man to man tho, its more...fun

I could do it that way but I also prefer fighting him man to man...

I used that sword my first time around and worked like a charm. Use Turpentine to add more damage, that way you'll be able to do up to 60 with each slash.

What was your problem with Dragon God? I thought it was the easiest fight in the game, just use a very large sword, smash the stones, run and repeat until you stab the Dragon God two times, after that use ranged attacks or magic if you don't want to go close due to his flame attack.

@Grahamhsu

Thanks, i'm thinking of balancing everything at 40s and then propagate to a mixed Faith/Dexterity build (Large Sword of Moonlight/Blind combo = God, this morning I invaded and owned 4 players with it xD).

Anything that can kill me in one hit, makes me hate it(i'm on NG btw). Getting stun locked by 2 skeletons and losing 100k souls didn't help either...>.>

Prediction:

TGS this year for PS3 will be amazing.

Grandia comes to PSN(PSone classic).

First Versus gameplay this year.

Well, there's the cheap way. I put on thief's ring, and had my bow and talisman of the beast on. Would launch a few arrows to get his attention, then some soul arrows as he chased me down that corridor. Then I would run away until he stopped chasing me. Rinse and repeat.

Or you can clear the 1st floor, and pull him down there so you have some more room and melee.

The easiest way = Meatl Cleaver 2H, R2 bash, wait for him to get up, repeat until he dies, works for every BP NPC :P

The hard way = Direct melee hand on hand combat with an equal damaging Magical or Fire Weapon, due to him having the Dull Rat Ring which'll boost his defense when he's at <30% HP

The Cheap way = Snipe him from afar using an Viscous bow or the White Bow with Light Arrows and Thief ring equipped so he won't move from his place.

@Skittles

Which two skeletons killed you that way?
