@lestat huge WRPG fan, right now I'm playing Diablo 2 and Demon Soul at the same time lol, I have all of the expansion packs from Fallout 3, I had owned Borderlands, recently went through Dragon Age twice.

Mass Effect XD one time I beat the game 6 times in 4 days trying to create "perfect sheperd" maxing out both intimidate and charm without using any level points. I'm looking foward to Mass Effect 2 but if I ever play Mass Effect again I might throw up...

edit: this board moves fast lol

@sabby reason I call it weird is because most people bought PS3 for FF13 or MGS5, and others bought a 360 for Halo, GoW etc, the people here on VGChartz understand me but when I say I bought PS3 for 3-d Dot Game Heroes in real life heads turn and people are like wtf bbq is that?

True thing.

Alot of my friends mainly play MW2. I only know 1 person who is going to get DS and only one person who like single player games more than multiplayer. It kind of pisses me off to be honest.

Also, I hardly told anyone I was going to get DS because I knew what their reactions were going to be. Alot my friends who are CoD addicts think I was stupid for buying Killzone 2.

On another note, I love WRPGs aswell. Fallout 3 is one of my favs this gen and I want the GoTY edition. In Fallout 3, I must have clocked about 200 hours.

Man, I really wish I got this game about a month ago so I could be on par with you guys.

won't take you long sabby, I only have had this game for 10 days...I did play for around 5-6 hours a day tho.

@lestat people online rely on the shield waaay too much, pretty much the reason I prefer two-handed style. I got invaded 3 times yesterday and every single one of them was either normal sword and shield (just asking to die...) and another guy came in with scraping spear and shield (just asking to die as well...I have over 1k life scraping spear can't compete at this SL plus scraping spear pisses me off...). I'd like to see how my MC matches against ur moonlight/blind.

Moonlight and Blind are two pretty awesome weapons for this single fact = They both go through shields, meaning opponents can block all that they want, that they'll still feel the full force of the blow :D

Plus, Large Sword of Moonlight functions exactly like the Meat Cleaver, has the same AoE roll attack and also knocks enemies down, but has one major upside. It only weighs 2.0 lb, meaning I can do three R2 swings and still have enough stamina to block xD

Large Sword of Moonlight and blind are kinda easy to get through once you know how to counter attack it...I mean, as soon as I see blind or Large Sword of moonlight, I switch to 2 hands with my keel smasher and darn I did dmg on that dude...

Scraping Spear...I have a feeling you're underestimating it's power... Took my whole gear down, even my shield, then the dude switches weps and killed me...It's all a matter of how you use a weapon, really.

http://demonssouls.wikidot.com/scraping-spear

underestimating scraping spear power? I think you are overestimating it, MC has 400 durability a scraping spear is never going to break my weapon, it takes off 10 dura per hit, 30 percent of max dura is considered a broken weapon. 30% of 400 is 120, this means that scraping spear has to hit me 28 times before my weapon breaks.

Scraping spear damage is 100 per hit with an E/A bonus with max stats it should barely squeak out 240 damage and that is with 99 str and 99 dex...I deal 500 damage a hit with 36 str, 40 dex, and 26 faith the I would think the best pvpers usually do not go over 1500 life in body form. At 50 vit you have 1500 life, at 99 vit you only get 1900, 49 soul levels for 400 more life due to the diminishing returns of the game. 500 damage per hit means even the BEASTEST vita character can not get hit by me 3 times before dying. Quite frankly I've yet to see someone take 2 direct shots from my MC and survive. I am at 1.2k life in body form right now at SL 125, a scraping spear has to hit me 8-9 times consecutively for me to die. Plus I prebuff like mad, this is another reason I never lost a BP fight, what is the BP going to do when I die and bam wtf bbq this fool has second chance on?! Or even worse for the scraping spear would be if I cast warding, more than halves physical damage now that scraping spear is really just a scraping spear...

-=Dew the disco dancing fo da Unco Graham=-

I'm looking for Miralda the executionner in the world 1-1 to get the armor I need, anyone know where she is. Whats the easiest way to get a pure white world...

My favorite games for this gen:

1. Gears of War    2. MGS4    3. Killzone 2   4. Halo 3(Underated by many)      5. Mass Effect

It is not used as a weapon of mass damage...it is use to break your armors. You seem to forget Meat Cleaver and other weapons of it's type are fairly easy to dodge, if you get the rhythm. You can also guard while attacking with the spear (requires large shields) and if you equip it with 2 hands, the range is crazy. 1 on 1, you will have a tough time with the bp( unless he stinks).

It all depends on your fighting skills. For example, spear vs very large swords, you wait for the guy to attack then you'll have about 1sec 30 millisecs to repost( which is easy with a fast attack weapon). Then just repeat...I do admit, however, if you mess up and get hit by MC/Brand/Keel M then you're pretty much f**ked and must back off.

But as I said, all depends on you and your challenger.

EDIT: Warding leaves you unguarded so you must be careful. Same with Second Chance spell...I would go for second chance as soon as I invade someone.

That's why I keep my Talisman of Beasts and Ring of Magical Sharpness with me at all times when I invade xD There's always ways to counter other people's weapons and attacks, you just have to know how ;)

Hey guys,

I just can't get worlds 3,4,5 to PW. Noone invades my game and I can help anyone either in Blue Phantom form. It must be due to big level differences, I'm at 108 now, and still haven't started NG+...

I'm just going to go PB in the rest of the worlds and PW character to get the Friend's Ring then, jump into NG+...

@routsounmanman

You couldn't make PW worlds just by defeating the bosses? or did you die a few times in those worlds as Physical form?

^^ I died several times in each world, before I read anything about World Tendencies >_>

In World 1, I had the two Dragons to shift it, but all the other worlds are complete. Ah well, I'll go for it in NG+, I'll make sure to get all the PB ones now, I can't imagine the horror of Black Phantom Goblins in world 5...

PS: You're really fast

I'm playing DS with the laptop on my side, that's why sometimes I respond fast :P

My first time around the game I didn't knew about World Tendencies too, so I just ended up doing both of them in NG+, and let me tell you, PB WT in NG+.... hell >_
