Stick with that Compound LB and use it as the material for Viscous Compound LB with the Spiderstones. It will be the best bow in the entire game, once you hit 30 dexterity further on the game.

Had a black phantom invade me today and actually beat him! With no damage taken, no less!

Just need that to happen 1 or 2 more times this go round and I should be able to get my friends ring (and the trophy).

Doubt the next ones will be so easy, though. He didn't seem to know how to evade a simple soul arrow....

Did you go for a ranged approach then? The last time I battled a BP player, I went all in all melee, while he tried to corner me and use Firestorm, was pretty hilarious xD

Lul, remembered my first BP invasion. The guy was unlucky, he invaded just when I got my katana. Made him bleed out even though he was blocking most of the time(damn bearbugs made it harder than it was though). XD

BP invasions in 2-2 are hilarious xD Once I had one, near Flamelurker, I got the guy to less than 10% health, and bam, he rolled right into the three surprise attack Rockworms.

I laughed for about a minute :P

I beat 4-1. The boss was easy.

But damn 3-1 is confusing. Those damn guards are annoying too. SOmetimes they get me in a corer and I cant evade his attacks. So I die.

I ended up losing 6k souls twice there.

And its a huge level too. I just want it to be done.

3-1's layout is very confusing, since you do some backtrack upwards and downwards in the level.

Here are a few pointers to help you:

Also, when you're facing a Guard, don't even try to hit them for more than one time, since they'll use the Sonic Screech attack which will throw you to the ground and take a huge chunk out of your health, plus afterwards, they'll use the paralysis + critical stab combo to finish you.
