"improves your odded on the pure stone"

i don't think so.  the odd for the pure stone is determined by the world tendency.

Fu*k ya just got my pure stone in NG+ im 1/6, kick ass had black WT LSS and 7 luck if that helps anyone also kill black skelly will soulsucker !!!!!!!!!!!!

It gives 56k souls in NG+ with Avarice ring with Soulsucker so I wouldn't even want to try to kill it any other way...

Ya, I just got the pure bladestone as well while doing the soul farming. Since I'm playing a female which can wear silver bracelet, I get even more souls per run, 175k for the black and the two golden skellies. Pretty nice for a 3 minutes run. Got the pure bladestone within 20 runs...I remember back in the Asian version, I got it within 30 runs or so. So it's not as bad as some people make it sound...

Edit: Oh and that's with 8 luck and no LSS.

God i need to get this game....i think im going to play the hell out of Uncharted 2, Ratchet and Clank and Assassins creed through Xmas, then get this and just play Demons souls until God of War.....it wouldnt be fair to Demons Souls to not devote 3 months of my life to it.....grrrrrr.

I want to get this game.  I've been reading this thread a bit and I have two questions:

1. Is there no great advantage to pumping up your luck score?  I want to have a rich ass character with tons of loot to...I dunno make into weapons or trade or sell, what's possible?  If you multi with people and one has a high luck, what happens?  Can you trade loot?

2. I'm noticing mostly melee-type characters getting mentioned.  Is it possible to rock out a heavily focused magic user?  How bout a Magic/Faith caster with kind of an even split?

There is no advantage in pumping luck.

You can't sell drops to merchant.

Once you start NG+ your bank just keeps filling with copies of the same weapons and armor...( only usefull loot is stone for weapon upgrades and even that after a while you will get all you need).

And each time you die you loose all cash/xp till you get back to your body ( and loose it forever if you die before reaching your body).

Pretty much every build is good because once a stat gets past 30 you start to get diminishing return on that stat so most high levels tend to have a bunch of stats around 30-40 instead of 1-2 stats pumped really high.
