Yea the MP bonus was tough to discard. I actually had the jester hat or whatever its called the fat guy hat which gave an MP bonus and better defense. but in the end I decided to go with the better defense over the MP. I haven't gotten the beast tailsman I do have the ring of averice which gives you a souls bonus.

its not that heavy. just open his cage and waste him. he doesn't put up to much of a fight. I wasn't sure if he just would get out the cage and disappear or what. So i just opened the cage and killed him before he had a chance to get back to the nexus

Spooky you say...sounds like my kind of world. I'll try to beat 2-2 and 3-1 (almost finish with them) and try out 4-1 and 5-1 before calling it quits.
To get the axe you have to have pure black tendency and just go to 1-1 right to the left after u spawn. You can do the wikidot demon souls site. One is ran by atlus and one isn't use the one that isn't it's better

I just found White Bow but it seems I can't use it because I don't have enough skill...

My Str is 22 and my Dex is 20. I wonder what the requirements are.
