How do I use magic in Demon's Souls? I have heal magic, but it appears faded, unable to use it.

I have the same problem. I can't seem to figure out how to use my heal magic...

You have to use a Talisman.

Well I just figured out that I need to equip that wand thing in order to use magic... Don't know if that helps you though.  haven't tried my heal yet. If you can, add me on PSN and we can help each other out. :P Peace.

I really want to get this game as soon as i can. everything i've seen and heard about it has been very good. from reviews to word of mouth from friends this game is really shining. it it could even be the best RPG of this generation so far.

You use wands for magic and Talisman for miracles.

Seems there is a glitch in NA DS. Sometimes when starting a new game you'll start with pure white tendency for all worlds. This explains both why the dragons didn't show in 1-1, and why I was one hit KO'ing everything with ease.
